"Nearly nine in ten (88%) of mobile phone users are happy to receive pre-roll mobile ads in return for free content, according to a new survey. The study comes from 4th Screen Advertising’s new Adlndex® for Mobile advertising effectiveness research, conducted by Dynamic Logic.." The governor of Alaska has "lots of experience with selling things on eBay", and plans to start auctioning off banks on eBay. In this way the US government will be using Web 2.0 and private resources instead of "saddling taxpayers with more risk". The Dow Jones, NASDAQ & S&P500 were down on the news.

Rumors leaked by the Japanese Nikkei news outlet are saying that Nintendo plans to release a new Nintendo DS with a camera and music capabilities. While Nintendo sidestepped questions about an updated Nintendo DS device, the success in Japan of Sony’s PSP may be forcing Nintendo to make dramatic changes to the DS to compete.
