It's hard to imagine anyone who hasn't heard of The Onion, the venerable spoof site that parodies newspapers and other print media. But for the past year or so, the same folks who do the Onion print products and Web site have been cranking out the fake Onion News Network to do the same thing for TV journalism. It's now getting major traction.

A gentleman recently won $10,000 for hacking a MacBook Air using an exploit in the Safari Web browser. This was during a laptop hacking contest and it made news all over the Internet.As it turns out, the exploit he used had been known for a year, it was part of the Perl Compatibility Regular Expressions

One more time, domain registrar Network Solutions is in the news again with reports of more questionable business practices. It is reported that NetSol is using its customers' sub-domains to run ad-generating links, according to The Register.
